As part of our commitment to making Adelaide Metro info easier to get, you can now subscribe to your favourite routes and get notifications about service disruptions sent straight to either your phone or email. If something is going to interrupt your journey, you’ll be amongst the first to know!
The new subscription system is a bit different from our previous versions and is easier to use. With this one, you don’t have to login to a separate system or app to subscribe or manage your subscription.
How do I subscribe?
You can subscribe to a route through its page. Or, if you catch different routes from the same stop or station, it's faster to go to the stop page and subscribe to the routes you want from there.
Once you’re on your route or stop page, look for the ‘Subscribe to updates via SMS or email’ link under the page name and details. Click the link and follow the prompts to subscribe. You’ll need to choose between email or SMS and you’ll get sent a verification code to confirm your subscription. If you want to set up multiple notifications in one go, visit each of the route or stop pages you need and follow the same process. You’ll need to enter your mobile or email address again.
If you’ve already got a list of your favourite routes saved to your device, you can subscribe by clicking the link at the bottom of the list. You’ll get the option to subscribe to everything on your list, or you can de-select routes you don’t want to receive updates about.
How do I unsubscribe or change my subscription?
Visit my subscriptions to unsubscribe from some or all of the routes you receive notifications about. You can also click the link at the end of any notification we send you or click 'unsubscribe' in the footer of our website.
It’s a similar process to subscribing – you’ll need to type in the email address or mobile number you used to subscribe, enter the validation code, then uncheck the routes you don’t want updates for anymore.
We want your feedback!
The new service is the first step in improving our subscription system – there’ll be more improvements to come. We’re keen to hear your feedback on it and understand what else you’d like it to do, so use our suggest, request, comment or complain form at any time to tell us what you think (the form will open in a new window).
